Suggestions for Funding PREPaRE Trainings

These suggestions come from the 2007 New Orleans Training of Trainers workshop participants.

  • Grant options that may be appropriate for PREPaRE workshops:
    • Safe and Drug Free School grants
    • Secure Our Schools (SOS) federal grant
    • US DOE Emergency Response and Crisis Management (ERCM) grants
  • In addition, some counties may budget funds (sometimes provided by states) for projects that benefit children and families (check with your county commissioners/offices of education)
  • Local professional development funds
  • State school psychology association workshops
