PREPaRE Training and Materials Fees

Schools or districts can contract for PREPaRE Workshops directly with PREPaRE trainers and negotiate with the trainer(s) for reimbursement for travel, lodging, and presenter fees. All workshop materials are ordered through NASP for a per-participant fee as indicated below. Materials may only be ordered for workshops being conducted by certified PREPaRE Trainers (which NASP will verify). Presenters will not deviate from the standardized curriculum and will present the workshop in its entirety (i.e. the entire one and/or two-dayworkshop[s]).

Workshop 1 (1-Day) Prevention and Preparedness: The Comprehensive School Crisis Team
Provides a broad overview of the school crisis team’s roles and responsibilities, with a special emphasis on crisis prevention and preparedness. 

Per participant materials fee: $20

Maximum size of the group: 100 persons

Workshop 1 Training of Trainers (ToT): Crisis Prevention and Preparedness: The Comprehensive School Crisis Team

Provides workshop participants with the information and practice needed to become a NASP PREPaRE “Crisis Prevention and Preparedness” workshop trainer.

Per participant materials fee: $40

Maximum size of the group: 40 persons

Workshop 2 (2-Day)
Crisis Intervention and Recovery: The Roles of School-Based Mental Health Professionals
Provides a specific examination of the school-based mental health professionals’ roles and responsibilities, with a special emphasis on crisis intervention and recovery.

Per participant materials fee: $30

Maximum size of the group: 40 persons.  However, with additional trainers the group size may be increased by 20 persons per each additional trainer(s).

Workshop 2 Training of Trainers (ToT): Crisis Intervention and Recovery: The Roles of School-Based Mental Health Professionals

Provides workshop participants with the information and practice needed to become a NASP PREPaRE “Crisis Intervention and Recovery” workshop trainer.

Per participant materials fee: $60

Maximum size of the group: 35 persons
