When and where is the NASP Annual Convention being held?
The 2008 Annual Convention,
“Resilience: Building Strength for Life,” will be held February 6-9, in
New Orleans. The
convention dates and locations for future
meetings are also available.
Do I earn professional development credits for attending the
convention?
You may earn continuing professional development (CPD)
credits for attending most convention activities. By participating in
convention sessions, you may earn between 35 and 40 CPD credits. The exact
number will depend on the final program.
Can I volunteer at the Annual Convention?
There are several ways to volunteer at the
Annual Convention. Volunteers are needed to assist with workshops,
poster presentations, the Children’s Fund auction, the 5K Walk/Run, and more.
In order to volunteer, you must have a current NASP membership and be
registered for the convention. Student members volunteering four hours of
service or more are eligible for a refund of their convention registration
fees.
